A New Direction
I’ve been all over the map since I started this thing.
Mental health one week, fertilizer the next, whatever was in my head. That changes now.
For the next 8-12 weeks, I’m digging into technology, masculinity, and what it means to work the land when everything’s changing faster than we can adapt, starting Tuesday with a piece about autonomous tractors and becoming obsolete.
I’m also turning paid subscriptions back on. Some pieces will be free, while others will be behind a paywall. If the work resonates with you and you'd like to support it, I’d appreciate it. If not, no hard feelings. There’ll still be plenty to read either way.
Every other Tuesday from here on out.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, stick around.

When I was eight years old, Daddy bought a spiffy red and white Massey Ferguson umbrella-type cover for me to keep the hot NC summer sun and rain away. I was the bomb baby!
Thank you for the heads up. I was surprised that I couldn’t make a comment on your last piece. We’re on a pretty limited income but will keep reading whether I can respond or not. Write on!!
