Hello, everyone, and welcome to The Temporary Feedlot — your go-to spot for agriculture stories while we wait for Substack to figure out where we fit.

Like any decent operation, this one's built to adapt.

Monthly roundups will keep coming as long as there are stories worth gathering and voices worth amplifying. The date will change with each new batch, but the purpose stays true — creating a space where farm stories can take root.

Truth doesn't grow in neat rows. It grows wild in the corners of fields, in the spaces between corporate narratives and polished press releases.

That’s where you’ll find these voices: from tractor cabs, milk shacks, small-scale nurseries, and century-old orchards.

While the digital world wrestles with sorting us into algorithmic boxes (Agriculture? Farming? Or just “farm” — a word that carries generations of wisdom), we’re focused on building something different.
